collada-urdf-tools software package provides ROS collada_urdf tools, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install collada-urdf-tools
collada-urdf-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the collada-urdf-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep collada-urdf-tools *
You will get with collada-urdf-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
